The Daufuskie Island Community Farm, located on Haig Point Road, is an all-volunteer based operation and welcomes visitors.
Yoga classes are generally held every weekend at the Mary Field School (now a community center) on School Road. The instruction is appropriate for all fitness levels, from beginner to intermediate, and visitors are welcome. Laura Winholt is a certified Anusara Yoga and RYT 500 instructor.

Daufuskie Island Farmers’ Market
Takes very Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. during summer months at the County Dock at the end of Haig Point Road (next to Marshside Mamas). Lots of good stuff here (come early!) and a great way to support the island's local economy.
The Daufuskie Island Conservancy is a wonderful organization dedicated to the study, protection and management of the natural resources of Daufuskie Island and the surrounding ecosystem.
